Kirstie’s first Spirit encounter was at the old Soup Kitchens, the Holy Jesus Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. A figure of a Monk passed her in the corridor while on a School trip. Kirstie asked the Teachers if they had seen this, but she was dismissed and told it was nonsense. When she arrived home she explained what she had seen on her school trip, what colour robes the Monk was wearing and how solid he looked, as solid and as real as you or I. 

Kirstie’s Mum contacted the venue and explained what had happened during the visit and asked if anyone else had seen or sensed this monk. It turned out quite a few of the staff members had seen him and he would always disappear through a wall at the end of the building. Staff members would not go into this corridor voluntarily.

Since that first encounter Kirstie would sit in closed Home Development Circles. From the age of 13, while still attending Churches with her Mum, her Spiritual development grew and she became very interested in working with the Spirit world. 

But like any teenager Kirstie stepped out of Spiritualism to gain an education. Kirstie strongly believes that talent alone is not enough to be a great Medium. Education, integrity, compassion, honesty and lived experiences are essential ingredients for any Medium.

Kirstie has a Bachelor's of Science Degree and has served the NHS in a clinical role for many years. Kirstie has also earned a Masters Degree. Kirstie has also built and ran two successful private health care practices. All while raising a family. Her devotion to her family and businesses could not dampen her true passion, serving the Spirit World and bringing comfort and reassurance through her work with Spirit. 

Kirstie was then Named within the Spiritualist religion and had a Spiritualist Wedding. Spiritualism is such an integral part of her life. Kirstie takes comfort from the knowledge that the Spirit world is always around her. It is this comfort and knowledge that Kirstie hopes to be able to share with you and to help to guide you on your own spiritual path.

Kirstie continued with her Spiritual development and began serving Spiritualist Churches within the northeast of England. She then became an award holder for the Spiritualist National Union and is recognised as a CSNU Speaking and Demonstrating Medium. Kirstie is also in the process of completing her formal SNU Teaching qualification.

Kirstie has attended many courses, including courses ran by, James van Praagh, Gordon Smith, Val Williams and others, but her main inspiration and source of guidance are from one of her favourite teachers Minister Jackie Wright. Kirstie has attended many of Minister Jackie Wrights courses. Kirstie has gained so much knowledge from Jackie and her unique teaching styles, that Kirstie regards Jackie as a modern pioneer of Spiritualism.

Uncommonly, it has taken Kirstie a number of years to feel confident in her Mediumship to be confident that she is ready to begin guiding others. Kirstie believes that all Mediums should work with integrity, honesty and with the best intentions and should serve Spirit without seeking personal fame or excessive financial gain.

Now is the time for her to begin a new path of teaching others and spreading the word of Spiritualism to others who are interested in learning more about the Spirit world or how they can advance their own Mediumship abilities.
